Thrust self-aligning roller bearings are roughly the same as self-aligning roller bearings.The raceway surface of the race is a spherical surface centered on a point consistent with the central axis of the bearing. The rollers of this type of bearing are spherical, and therefore have automatic self-aligning function.
  The interference fit between the outer ring and the bearing housing hole should not be used, and the fit between the inner ring and the shaft neck should not be too tight. It is required that the nut adjustment during installation should be able to produce a relatively flexible axial displacement. Because if interference fit is used for self-aligning roller bearings, it is easy to change the contact angle of the bearing, causing uneven load distribution and high temperature rise. Therefore, the installation and coordination of the inner and outer rings of such bearings with the shaft neck and bearing housing holes should generally be best achieved by using both thumbs to just push the bearing into the shaft neck and housing holes.
