7201 BECBP is a single-row angular contact ball bearing featuring solid inner and outer rings. Its name derives from the contact angle formed when the raceways of the inner and outer rings are axially offset relative to one another. Each bearing ring is designed with one high shoulder and one low shoulder. The low shoulder enables the installation of a larger quantity of balls inside the bearing.
Single-row angular contact ball bearings withstand substantial radial loads as well as unidirectional axial loads. A larger contact angle corresponds to higher axial load carrying capacity of the bearing.
