Guide profile rail bearing: A groove or ridge made of metal or other materials that can withstand, fix, guide moving devices or equipment and reduce their friction. The longitudinal groove or ridge on the surface of the guide rail is used to guide and fix machine components, specialized equipment, instruments, etc.Used for linear reciprocating motion applications.It has a higher rated load than linear bearings. At the same time, it can bear a certain amount of torque and achieve high-precision linear motion under high load conditions.
Performance of profile rail bearing:
(1) Guidance accuracy. Mainly guiding the accuracy of track motion trajectory. The main factors affecting guidance accuracy are the geometric accuracy and contact accuracy of the guide rail. The structural form of the guide rail. The stiffness and thermal deformation of the guide rail and its supporting components. The thickness and stiffness of the oil film between the static (dynamic) pressure guide rail pairs.
(2) Accuracy retention. Mainly determined by the wear resistance of the guide rail. The wear resistance is related to factors such as the material of the guide rail.The frictional properties of the guide rail pair.The pressure on the guide rail and its distribution law.
(3) Stiffness. Including the stiffness of the guide rail itself and the contact stiffness. It mainly depends on factors such as the shape and size of the guide rail.The connection method of the supporting components.And the stress conditions.
(4) Stability of low-speed motion.Friction induced self-excited vibration.Also known as crawling phenomenon.Is prone to occur when moving the guide rail at low speed or with slight displacement.Crawling can reduce positioning accuracy or increase the roughness value of the processed workpiece surface.
Lubrication and protection:
The function of lubrication is to reduce wear, prevent corrosion, and improve work efficiency. Reduce thermal deformation. Avoid crawling phenomenon under low-speed heavy load.
Common protection methods: aluminum type protective curtain.Organ shield.Automatic retractable protective cover.
