The purpose of 6324 c3 ball bearing is to determine the relative position of two parts (usually a shaft and a 6324 c3 bearing seat) and to ensure their free rotation, while transferring the load between them.At high speeds (e.g., in gyro ball bearings), this use can be extended to include free rotation with little wear in the bearings.To achieve this state, an adhesive fluid film called an elastohydrodynamic lubrication film can be used to separate the two parts of the bearing.
Denhard indicated that the lubrication film can be maintained not only when the bearing is subjected to loads on the shaft, but also when the 6324 c3 bearing is subjected to preloading so that the positioning accuracy and stability of the shaft do not exceed 1 microinch or 1 nanomicroinch.

Selection of internal clearance for 6324 c3 bearings:
