Cup tapered roller bearing mainly bear combined radial and axial loads.Bearing capacity depends on the raceway Angle of the outer ring, and the larger the Angle, the greater the bearing capacity. This type of bearing is a separation type bearing, which can be divided into single row, double row and four row tapered roller bearings according to the number of rolling bodies in the bearing.Single row tapered roller bearing clearance shall be adjusted by the user during installation.Double row and four row tapered roller bearing clearance has been given according to user requirements when the product leaves the factory.

Tolerance for cup tapered roller bearing:
Metric tapered roller bearings have common tolerance, but also provide P6X, P6, P5, P4, P2 tolerance products, all in line with GB307.1.
Inch tapered roller bearings have common class tolerances, CL2, CL3, CL0 and CL00 class tolerances are available as required.
Radial clearance
Single row cup tapered roller bearing have clearance only after installation and can only be determined after adjustment by another bearing positioned in opposite direction.

Cage for cup tapered roller bearing:
Cup tapered roller bearing is generally made of steel plate stamping, basket shaped cage, but when the size is larger, also use car made solid prop cage.
1. When the bearing outer diameter D≤650mm, steel plate stamping cage shall be adopted, and the rear codes of cage shall not be marked
2. When cup tapered roller bearing outer diameter D>650mm, steel solid prop retainer shall be adopted. The code of retainer post shall not be marked
Suffix defined for cup tapered roller bearing:
A: internal structure changes
B: increased contact Angle
X: the dimensions adopt international standards
CD: double outer ring with oil hole or groove.
TD: double inner ring with taper hole.
