What is bearing needle thrust?

Bearing needle thrust are equipped with shaped cages, which can reliably fix and guide a large number of needle rollers. Needle roller thrust bearings provide very high stiffness in a very small axial space. In applications where the surfaces of adjacent machine parts can be used as raceways, needle roller thrust bearings take up less space than traditional thrust washers.

Design and Variation
Bearing needle thrust are available in two designs:

Needle roller-cage thrust assemblies of the AXK series 

Needle roller thrust bearings with guide ribs, AXW series

Features and Benefits
*Can withstand heavy axial loads and maximum loads
The needle rollers have very small diameter deviations in one assembly, thus enabling these bearing needle thrust to withstand heavy axial and maximum loads.
*Extend bearing life
To prevent stress peaks, the needle roller ends are slightly retracted to change the line contact between the raceway and the needle roller.
