Application for recirculating ball bearing:
The purpose of a recirculating ball bearing is to determine the relative position of two parts (usually the shaft and the bearing seat) and to allow them to rotate freely while transferring the load between them.At high speeds, such as in gyro recirculating ball bearing, this use may be extended to include free rotation with little wear in the bearings.

In order to achieve this state, an adherent fluid film called an elastohydrodynamic lubrication film can be used to separate the two parts of the bearing.Denhard (1966) shows that the elastohydrodynamic lubrication film is maintained not only when the bearing is subjected to load on the shaft, but also when the recirculating ball bearing is subjected to preloading so that the positioning accuracy and stability of the shaft do not exceed 1 microinch or 1 nanoinch.
Recirculating bearing are used in various machines and equipment with rotating parts.Designers often have to decide whether ball bearings or fluid film bearings should be used in specific applications.The following characteristics make ball bearings more desirable than fluid film recirculating ball bearing in many applications.

1. Small starting friction and suitable working friction.
2.Able to withstand both radial and axial loads.
8. Insensitive to interruption of lubrication.
4. No self-excited instability.
Low temperature starting is easy.
In a reasonable range, changing the load, speed and working temperature has only a small effect on the good performance of the recirculating ball bearing.
The following characteristics make the recirculating bearing less desirable than the fluid film bearing.
1. The variation of finite fatigue life is great.
2. The required radial space is large.
3. Low damping capacity.
